Datsun India had launched the Redi-GO on 7th of June 2016. It was during the Delhi Auto Expo in 2014, that the car maker had revealed the concept model of the Redi GO for the first time.
The front face of the Datsun Redi-GO comes with a smart bonnet and two stylish swept back head lamps which have integrated turn lights. The front face comes with Datsun's hexagonal front grille with chrome accented borders. The front bumper offers an aggressive face to this car. The rear wind shield is mounted high up with the tail lamps stacked vertically, that adds to the appeal of the Redi Go.

Datsun India has been banking on the performance of the Redi-Go with the intent of securing a strong hold in the entry level small car category of India. As of now, the Redi Go will be available with an 800 cc petrol engine that is similar to the Renault Kwid, which will produce 53 bhp output and max torque of 72 Nm. The car maker will first launch a five speed manual transmission model of the Redi Go with plans to release an AMT model in the future.

The Renault Kwid is a brilliant car which also belongs to the quintessential compact hatchback class that the Indians simply adore.
