Maruti Suzuki India Ltd had launched its premium hatchback car the Baleno in India last year in 2015.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno has been designed as per the Suzuki’s ‘Liquid Flow’ design principle, owing to which it has been given slender lines and smooth curves along its side profile. The new Baleno also comes packed with many features. The higher trims of this car has been given LED tail lights, which makes the Baleno the first car from the house of Maruti Suzuki to come with these modern light fitments
The Baleno is powered by an 84PS 1.2 litre K-Series, four cylinder petrol and a 75PS 1.3 litre Multijet, four cylinder diesel engines. Both the petrol and diesel models come with five speed manual transmission. The petrol model also comes with an optional CVT gearbox. This car delivers the best in class fuel efficiency at 21.7 kmpl for the petrol and 27.39 kmpl for the diesel models.

Hyundai has enjoyed huge success with the introduction of the Elite i20 which is the second generation of the i20 hatchback in India and has now launched a crossover model based on this hatchback. The Hyundai Elite i20 is another car in the compact crossover segment and SUVs in the Indian auto market.
The Elite i20 from Hyundai is the second generation model of the earlier i20 car in India. It shares the same platform as the earlier i20 but now comes with more features. The restyled front radiator grille with new fog lamps and sweptback projector head lights have been carried over to this new generation model. Hyundai has given the i20 a body cladding while redesigning the alloy wheels and roof rails. Stepping into the car you will find that the new Elite Hyundai i20 comes with an upgraded cabin.
The interior looks funky with classy colours and dashboard style lending a general sporty look. Like the feature rich i20 hatchback, the i20 Elite also comes with many new features like height adjustable driver’s seat, cooled glove-box, 2-Din audio system with 1 GB internal memory, cruise control, climate control system, reverse parking assist, clutch lock etc. This car is driven by the 1.2 litre Kappa petrol and 1.4 litre CRDi diesel engines. While the 1.2 litre petrol unit produces 82 bhp of output and 114 Nm of peak torque, the 1.4 litre diesel engine produces 89 bhp output and 220Nm of max torque.
