Volkswagen Ameo and Maruti Suzuki Baleno - Which one should you Buy?
Ameo is the latest offering by Volkswagen in the compact sedan category of cars. The German auto major has launched itself into the compact sedan market of India with their Ameo which is the compact sedan model of their Polo hatchback. The Volkswagen Ameo has been built with the Indian customers in focus and with the aim of drawing the maximum out of tax benefits for cars which are lesser than 4 metre in length.
The Ameo resembles the Polo hatchback with its elegant looks. It comes with the same look of the radiator grille in the front along with the head lamps and front bumper. Stepping into the car you will find that the cabin of the Ameo has also been very aesthetically designed with a good touch of class. However, it is a bit saddening to realise that the Ameo has been given fabric upholstery instead of leather, though the leather covered steering wheel and the use of premium plastics do give off that premium feel to the interiors of the car.
