The diesel version has a 3 cylinder TCIC engine which throws back a power of 57.1 Ps and a torque of 142.5 Nm. Both the versions have 5 speed manual gear box which takes care of the transmission. As far as mileage is concerned the petrol version gives 17.8 kmpl while the diesel version throws back 25.44 kmpl.

Chevrolet has also taken care of the safety and security features. The Beat has both the driver as well as the passenger airbags.
