The Japanese auto maker Toyota has focused on safety and equipped all the trims with driver and passenger side air bags. The Etios also comes with reverse parking sensors and a buzzer warning for seatbelt, doors open and head lights on. The car comes packed in with features like steering mounted audio controls, wood finish armrest, chrome touched door handles and height adjustable driver seats.

Other features include combimeter with new LCD display and digital clock and a cooled glove box. The Toyota Etios now comes with two new rear speakers in addition to the ones that are already there in the front. The attractive infotainment system is a 2-DIN audio player integrated with Bluetooth, USB Aux –in and a remote controller.

Talking about the engine specs, it is driven by 1.4 litre diesel engine which generates 67 bhp and 170Nm of peak torque. The petrol version of the sedan is driven by the 1.5 litre petrol DOHC engine that produces 88bhp and 132Nm of peak torque. Both engines come mated to a five speed manual gearbox. The diesel variant of the Etios sedan returns an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 23.59 kmpl, while the petrol model returns a fuel economy of 16.78 kmpl.
