Why should i buy Ford Figo Aspire?
The Ford Figo Aspire is the American car maker, Ford’s, first go at manufacturing a sub 4 meter compact sedan model especially designed for the Indian car market and other emerging car markets across the world. The new Ford Figo Aspire comes with both diesel s well as petrol variants and is set to face stiff competition from some of the highest selling and most favoured cars in India, like the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, the Hyundai Xcent, the Honda Amaze. Ford has also plans to launch a hatchback version of this new Ford Figo Aspire soon.

The overall outer design of the Figo Aspire looks very appealing and stylish which comes complete with all the attractive fitments. The front fascia of this car has got a body coloured bumper that is a bit slanting and comes with the radiator grille which has been accentuated with chrome designs. Along the side profile, there are BSMP (body side protection moulding) with chrome accents, which are prominent lines that provide safety as well as sharpness to the overall image of the car. This model is being offered in seven different shades of colours for the consumers to choose from.

It is a sub 4m compact sedan with dimensions of 3995mm length, 1695mm width and a height of about 1525mm. It also offers a ground clearance of 174 mm which is quite good. The interiors of this car have been designed to enhance the look and offer a pleasant experience. The whole cabin looks very appealing in dual tones of charcoal black and light oak. The comfortable seats in all the variants come with fabric while the top variant comes with leather upholstery. Audio and phone controls mounted on the steering wheel along with Bluetooth integration and power adjustable ORVMs are some of the features on offer.

Coming to engine specs, the 1.2 litre petrol model makes 88bhp and 112Nm torque, and comes with a five speed manual gearbox. Ford Figo Aspire also comes with the dual clutch automatic petrol variant of the car which is clubbed with the 1.5 litre petrol engine that produces 110bhp and 145Nm of torque. The fuel efficiency of the manual and automatic models is around 18.16kmpl and 17kmpl. The 1.5 litre TDCi engine in the diesel models produces 99bhp and 215Nm of peak torque. This is at present the most powerful engine in this segment which offers decent fuel efficiency of 25.83kmpl.
