India soon to witness the launch of the Nissan GT-R
Almost a decade after launching the R35 Nissan GT-R in international markets, Nissan announced earlier this year that it will bring the car to India in the second half of 2016. The makers launched the updated Nissan GT-R at the New York Auto Show earlier this year, and now Nissan India has opened pre-bookings at Rs. 25 lakh for the same. With its third facelift, the all-new GT-R churns out more power than ever before and will be officially launched by November 9. Nissan India has already started taking pre-bookings. With the ability to sprint from standstill to 100 kmph in just 2 seconds with a top speed of 315.4 kmph, the car has set a high benchmark for terrific acceleration.
the Nissan GT-R
Quite a few individual owners in India have unofficially imported the Nissan GT-R and the car has always been an immensely popular sports car in the country, chiefly owing to its almost infinite tuning potential. The existing owners have a good news in store for them : it will extend service support to these cars that are already being used in the country. The President of Nissan India Operations, Guillaume Sicard has stated that the 2017 GT-R will bring a wave of excitement to the Nissan range in India. GT-R represents the pinnacle of Nissan’s driving performance and this latest model is sure to wow car lovers even more with its powerful performance and luxurious feel. The makers have expressed in their official statement that they are proud to offer this legendary sports car to Indian car enthusiasts.
The GT-R will be available in seven colours including the brand new Katsura Orange which was launched in 2016 specially for this edition. It is being expected that the new GT-R will meet with immensely positive responses especially from buyers who have put off their buying decisions due to the lack of service support. Bookings are currently being accepted for a minimum deposit of INR 25 lakhs. This car is believed to turn out as one of the fastest yet highly practical supercars of all time. With Nissan introducing yearly updates with more power and upgraded mechanicals, the developments on all all-wheel drive coupe has never really slowed down.
