New And Defined Driving Experience by The New Honda WR-V
Honda is a Japanese multifunctional conglomerate that is known for its automobile manufacturing. Honda has been the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer since 1959, as well as the world's largest manufacturer of internal combustion engines measured by volume. THE NEW HONDA WR-V
WR – V is a compact crossover being launched by Honda. WR – V comes in a sporty avatar adorned with a number of stylish additives. It comes adorned with newly-designed alloy wheels and roof rails. There is also body cladding at the wheel arches. The rear end of the car contains restyled tail-lamp cluster and repositioned number plate. Various other feature and elements added to the car to accentuate the sporty look include - smoked headlamps, new single-slat chrome grille and skid plate, plastic cladding on the bumper and many more. The WR – V comes dressed as a sportier version of the Honda Jazz with a little too many additives over the actual Jazz blueprint. Honda has promised to launch WR – V in all new colours never seen before.
The WR – V interiors will have similarities with that of the Jazz model. The new Honda car is very spacious with ample legroom and headroom.
The car comes in both petrol and diesel variants. As for the petrol variant, the motor is a 1.2L i-VTEC which generates a top power of 89 bhp at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 109 Nm at 4500 rpm. The diesel variant on the other hand, boasts of a 1.5 L 4-cylinder i-DTEC engine, which is supposed to give an output of 98 bhp of maximum power at 3600 rpm and 200 Nm of the peak torque at 1750 rpm.
The mileage offered by the car is pretty impressive too. The petrol variant provides a mileage of 16-18 kmpl while that provided by the diesel variant is 25 kmpl.
The WR – V will lure its buyers by incorporating a number of safety features which include - Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), dual front airbags, rear parking sensors and seatbelts with pre-tensioners. These will safeguard the driver and other passengers during times of crash and minimise the damage done.
Although identical to Honda Jazz, WR – V is supposed to give a better performance. The NVH levels have been extensively reworked upon. The ground clearance is much better than that of Jazz, albeit the cabin and features have been borrowed from its hatch sibling, the Honda Jazz. The cost of Honda WR – V would be set within an affordable price range if 6-9 lacs.
